Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care is a health care profession that emphasizes the body's natural ability to heal itself. The practice typically involves manual therapy that includes adjustments made to the spine and other joints, helping to ease body pain and discomfort. We use our knowledge and expertise to correct imbalances in the body that may affect your overall health. With spinal manipulation as its mainstay, chiropractic care may also include other treatments such as manual or manipulative therapies. Overall, chiropractic care is a valuable resource in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of pain and disease.

Our Approach to Chiropractic Care

Diversified

This is as an effective and non-invasive adjusting technique involving a specific manual applied force in a specific line of drive through a joint with specific contact points on the bony anatomic structure to restore motion, reduce inflammation, and enhance neurologic connectivity to target tissues. Most patients know this as a technique that will create a "pop" in the joint known as a cavitation. This noise is created by gas leaving the joint space and, when done correctly, does not cause damage to the region.

Activator Method

The Activator Method is a safe and effective alternative to manual manipulation of the spine. It uses a spring-loaded, hand-held mechanical instrument called an "Activator" to provide a gentle impulse to affected areas of the body. This technique works by encouraging realignment of the spine through one specifically applied force per affected tissue area. The Activator Method is gentle and effective in treating muscles, ligaments, joints, and spinal discs.

Logan Basic

The Logan Basic technique focuses on the alignment of the sacrum and its effect on the musculoskeletal system. By utilizing light pressure on the impacted side sacrotuberous ligament, it seeks to restore normal function to the entire spine. This approach may be particularly effective for pregnant patients, infants, and those with chronic pain, sports injuries, and postural problems. Overall, the Logan Basic Chiropractic Technique is a safe and effective option for those seeking natural pain relief and spinal alignment.
